A mom of two teenagers and a wife of 21 years to my hubby, we are learning to live life one day at a time. Due to life happening, (from our daughter having a tumor to career changes) I had taken a break from Swap-Bot, but I am looking forward in meeting new friends and pen-friends.

I have always had a passion for writing. I am an editor to two hometown newspapers, and two magazines and a columnist to several newspapers in the south...I enjoy sitting down and writing to pen-friends and journaling.

Outside of family,church, and writing, I also enjoy flea markets, gardening, and entertaining friends and family.

My favorite colors are yellow, teal, and sometimes pink...Starbucks is a great place to be and Snailmail and Happy Mail is the best! I love all things that are needed for some happy mail: stickers, washi (lots of washi) stamps, metallic stamp pads, and pens of all types and colors. My fave snacks is anything that has sea salt, caramel, and chocolate.

I am also a planner/organizer nerd. I buy way too many post-it notes and page flags and a girl could never have too many pens or colored pencils. I enjoy all things glitter and confetti makes for a better day.
