I am a UK transplant stay-at-home Mum to two boys aged 9 and 6. I teach handwriting to 3rd graders and fiber arts workshops to anyone who'll listen! Wet and dry felting, waldorf dollmaking techniques and I love to dye and batik. I also chair a crafting circle/committee at a Waldorf inspired public school which keeps me busy raising money and serving the faculty with curriculum items. Won't you play with me???

I love rock and roll mostly from 70's classic groups( listed below) and my fav music is trippy rock stuff from The Charlatans, Ride, Spiritulized. I also love folk singers- Joan Baez, Dylan, Cohen; classical favs are Schubert, Haydn, Bach, Beethoven, and good old time jazz too like Ella Fitzgerald. I tend to pick my music according to mood or when when working on certain art pieces. Other favourites include: The Killers, Led Zepp, The Hives, Black Sabbath, White Stripes, Cash

Painting, felting, making dolls, changing old clothes into something else, knitting, more felting

Silmarillion, The Stars My Destination ( Tiger Tiger), Pride and Predjudice, The Illuminatus Trilogy, The Hobbit, Native Son, MIsts of Avalon

Not that much TV watched but I really do like: Smallville, the Office, Scrubs, Entourage, 30 Rock and Heroes. used to like Charmed a lot too! Now add True blood to the growing list of favs.. I've been known to watch a little Dancing with the Stars...

I love Indian food and could eat it everyday! Greek, Persian, and good old-fashioned bad for you English pub food, like pasties, battered fish and roast beast!! Love feta salad, spinach, any veggie from my garden right out the ground. Baked beans on toast and sardine and tomato spread. Love hot choc/dark preferable and indian rose tea best. Do not really like green tea or spice teas like chai, always seems to sit for a visitor given away, sorry!

Ok, I thought maybe I should add some useful info for swaps! Chocs - I really love dark chocolate, but any choc is good choc!! Just no weird chili or green tea combos! Teas - Love indian rose, black gold, jasmine, chamomile and mint, sage, lavender, passion fruit, but will try most any, (apparently I don't like the green or spice blends) I'm a purist! Colours - I'm an earth/fire type so green, gold, burnt orange, purple, black, cream not white, sparkles and NEVER pink please!!! Other stuff: Like art deco style, funky, weird and interestingly different. Not really into cutsy/hallmarky/Hello Kitty/folk/art/stuff sorry.. am willing to be surprised though and appreciate unique art and thought. Like to share love, peace, understanding and real freedom. Eco-friendly and want to be more off grid, biodynamic and woodsy whilst living in Los Angeles!

Two red eared slider turtles - Green Eggs and Hamlet and two teeny hamsters - Despareux and Cudby. Aiming for chickens, sheep, goat and dogs!

Two sons - code names are Donovan boy age 9.5 - loves reading fantasy books, science projects, games, mind puzzles, karate, plays violin. Little Gandalf age 6.5 - loves animals from big cats to mythical creatures. Ancient weaponry expert in the making and singer of theme tunes, karate, plays piano.
