I am a stay at home mother of three. I was in the Navy for ten years and decided I wanted a family more. I love, love, love my family. Crafting and rearranging my house are what I love to do. I have three small parrots and two little dogs that keep me company. My husband was also in the Navy and is very supportive of whatever I do. Other than the cold weather in the winter, where I live isn't so bad either.

I love to make things for my kids and my home. I try to focus on decor that makes us happy. I also enjoy making cards and homemade journals. Smash books are fun to make and give away. I have some books on macrame and hope to start some this summer.

My kitchen is mushroom themed with splashes of orange. I love gnomes in my garden... And anything else that might find it's way there. I collect Egyptian themed decor and anything astrology related. I am an aries! My son is into anime. And the girls are simply girls. My husband cracks me up with his love for rap music and the mafia!

I love murder mysteries. Easy to read action books also find a place in my heart. I have been on a huge survivalist and post apocalyptic kick lately. Don't forget about the classics though. I just finished War and Peace and that will never happen again! Very long and the names were hard but overall I am glad I struggled through.

Anything kitschy has been known to catch my attention. From large lamps to small stationary. I especially like pieces that have come from around the world. I love mermaids and Alice in Wonderland! My loves vary so much.

Black and denim seem to be what I wear the most. I have noticed that I even decorate with a lot of black. My kitchen is orange (I mentioned that before) but I find that orange also creeps into places around the house.

Now for the dislikes... ...well I don't know of any... I don't dislike any colors...I love all animals...any kinda craft is fun...if you send something to me that is not my norm I will try it out. I belong to a sewing/craft group and we swap items sometimes too. Just don't send me junk that is old or gross or not useable, but that should be understood. I hope this helps anyone who gets me as a partner.

I am a fan of 80's music! I love Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Duran Duran. I tend to lean towards the alternative. I was in high school from '90 to '94 and so music from that time is also nostalgic.
