I'm a wife to the most wonderful husband in the world (John). We have 3 children. 2 girls named Annika and Maya and a boy named Jonas. The oldest has left the nest. We just left the middle of nowhere in West Tennessee and landed an hour south of Atlanta. We absolutely love it here. We're Yankee transplants. lol We are a family that loves animals. We have 2 dogs (a Pit Bull and an English Bulldog), 3 cats, and a lovebird. We're a homeschooling family. I also work part time at a veterinary clinic. I have hobbies but not much time to enjoy them since we're so busy. However, they are sewing, photography, and reading. I am really trying to spend more time sewing these days. I made the pilgrimage to Missouri Star last year and now I want to sew all the things!

I used to participate quite a bit in Swap-bot. However life took over and I have been inactive for many years. I am going to try to slowly get back into it.

Two things I REALLY dislike......

1 = the smell of cigarettes! I quit many years ago. Now I hate receiving items that smell like smoke. 2 = animal odors! Barf! I have animals but I don't think they stink up my house too awful bad! I got a swap once that smelled so bad of cat urine that I had to throw it out. I even put it outside for 2 days to air out. I really liked it too!

My husband and I are into OLD time country (hank williams, stuff like that), Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Hellbilly, mostly independent bands. Hank 3, Bob Wayne, Reverend Horton heat, Stray Cats, Unknown Hinson, Nekromantix, blah blah blah.

I love reading! I prefer non-fiction/memoirs but I will read what ever I can get my hands on if I have a few spare minutes to read! I am currently reading Midnight in The Garden of Good and Evil. My friend's husband is an author so I am working on his series, Zombie Road. I'm linking it a lot so far! I also like reading books on people leaving religious cults. I find it so interesting.

I like horror, suspense, thriller, cult classics, and comedy the most. Since I am a girl.....I do tend to like chick flicks now and then too. The Harry Potter series will always be on our family's favorite movies list! (I'm a Huffelpuff.)

We don't have cable tv so I'm sure we miss out on some cool shows. We're all about The Walking Dead! I also enjoy The American Housewife, Family Guy, The Golden Girls, Robot Chicken, Stranger Things, Sneaky Pete, Goliath. I ♥ SQUIDBILLIES!
