Hi! my name is Dale Baseri. I am a 54 year old lady who lives in Virginia. I work as a computer programmer. My heritage is German and Polish. I have 2 kids, a son who is a freshman in college and a daughter who is in grad school. I play the violin in a community orchestra. I like birds, butterflies, guinea pigs and trees. My favorite color is red. My favorite flowers are dahlia's, sunflowers and zinnia's. I adore gnomes is all shapes and sizes!

My favorite season is Fall, followed by Winter. I love snow. (I am not a fan of summer heat or the beach).

My favorite holidays are Halloween (its my sons birthday) and Christmas.

I love Italian food, peanut butter and all types of chocolate (so glad it is one of the main food groups!)

I am a tea drinker (not fond of lemon or green tea which tastes like grass to me).

I collect pins and wear them often. (I have so many Christmas ones that I can wear a different one the whole month long).

I send postcards from every place I visit to my family and friends. I love to receive postcards and save every one I receive. I am originally from NY & I write to my elderly relatives each week, love to receive something in the mail that is not a bill! :)

I am really easy to please and take delight in anything that someone has taken the time and care to send me!

I like all music from classic Rock - Blue Grass. Love 80's music & classical music since I play the violin.

I love mysteries & thrillers. I like books by Louise Penny and Stephen King.

I still read a daily newspaper, prefer that to reading it online.

I am also a huge fan of all the 'ladies' magazines - Woman's Day, Family Circle, Good Housekeeping, Self, Martha Stewart, US weekly.... I get them all and catch up on them while I'm on the treadmill.

I love all the Marvel Movies! Huge Fan! I also enjoy the animated Disney movies, psychological thrillers, and mysteries. Not a fan of comedies.

Anything with doctors, lawyers or superheroes! I also like The Handmaids Tale. I am in love with Grogu from the Mandalorian. I get the biggest kick out of Dr. Pohl's Veterinary show. I think he is the sweetest Vet ever.

I scrapbook 12x12 albums. Not into digital scrapbooking, I'm old fashion and still print out my pictures from my trusty Nikon camera.

I have just taken a class in how to hand knit. I made a small blanket and will attempt to make another on my own. I do a tiny bit of crocheting and knitting but am not very good at reading the patterns so am still at the beginner level.

I.AM.IN.LOVE. with Anything from punch studio brand of paper products/cards/wrapping paper (whenever my local Tuesday Morning store has the wrapping paper I must buy every roll for my collection!)

Lover of vintage images/stickers also.

Until I joined swap-bot I did not own any washi-tape, however after receiving some really nicely decorated envelopes I just bought myself a package of 50 rolls! Looking forward to sharing.

My son and I like to collect flattened pennies from tourist places we visit. I put them on scrapbook pages.
