Hi thar! I'm in my early 30's but I don't feel a day over 25 :D I live on that fine line between genius and madness.

I'm a mother to an amazingly awesome 17 year old and 3 felines along with a few adopted outside kitties (keep in mind they adopted us ^.^) and I have been married to my soul mate for the last 18 years.Yes we had our son when we were very young :P Better that way imho. I have a relationship with my son unlike any I have ever seen. I am truly lucky to have two of the most wonderful men ever in my life!

We've lived in Miami, FL all our lives but I kinda hate it here. I hope to move someday further north where its not so HOT!!! I would love to actually have seasons too lol.

After being renters for all our lives we just bought our first house this year and are consumed with all the little things we can do to it becuz its OURS! And my husband indulged me by giving up the only extra room in the house so that I can have my very own studio!! He loves that I now have a place for all my art stuff (that used to be scattered throughout the house LOL!)

I'm allergic to pollen, animals (cept mine) and anything smoky (cigarettes or incense). I also have a metal or I guess nickel allergy so I can't use any costume jewelry if it has any metal that would touch my skin :(

I'm not a typical chick by any stretch of the imagination. I don't do girly girl. I wear black just about every day. I DON'T own a single pink thing! I rarely polish my nails or do my hair or even wear make up unless I have to. I don't wear much jewelry. I wear a man's watch and my wedding band is wider than most men's bands hehe. I rarely wear heels. I don't even know how to walk in those really skinny heels LMAO!! I never wear skirts or dresses. I HATE shopping for clothes!! I'm not a tomboy per se but as you can see i'm not like most girls :D

My fav band right now is Modest Mouse. OMG I can't get enough of em!! They really inspire my creativity.

Completing my top five are Cake, The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant and That Handsome Devil. My husband fondly calls my genre of music "circus music" LMAO!! Love it!

Other than that I love all things rock. System of a Down, The Strokes, The Chili Peppers, Green Day, The White Stripes, Coldplay, Tom Petty, Arctic Monkeys, The Foo Fighters... I can go on and on. Basically my life consists of art, books, movies and music.

My favorite author is Anne Rice. I'm not into horror exactly but she tells a damn good story! The Twilight series has NOTHING on her. No offense to the Twilight fans :P My favorite of Anne's books is Memnoch the Devil. What an epic tale!! I also collect her first editions. I have at least a dozen 1st editions 4 of which are signed by her!

I also love Terry Brooks. He knows how to instantly capture a reader!! I wasn't into fantasy until I read The Genesis of Shannara. That trilogy is a great way to ease yourself into that genre if you are interested. Tolkien was just never able to grab me the same way. Maybe I'll try him again after I've read everything by Brooks.

But I spend most of my time reading any and every craft/art book I can get my hands on. Oh and I love all the Stampington Magazines and Cloth Paper Scissors. Although Stampington does annoy me a bit becuz they focus SO MUCH on "french" stuff. If I have to look at another Marie Antoinette collage I will shoot myself!! Enough already!!

My all time favorite movie is MirrorMask!!

It is delightfully weird and a visual feast!! I love Dave McKean and this movie is like watching his art come to life! The story is unique and very well told. All the details are very well thought out. I can't say enough. Its a must see.

I also love all the Pixar movies with Wall-e being my favorite ^.^ He is such an endearing character.

But I'm not a big fan of the classic Disney characters or movies (Mickey, Donald, The Little Mermaid, etc.)

My favorite genre is children's fantasy. Poke fun if you want :P Spiderwick, The Golden Compass, the Narnia movies, and OF COURSE all the Harry Potter movies!!!

TIM BURTON. Nuff said.

Oh and Avatar is the most amazing movie of all time! And I mean the blue people Avatar not The Last Airbender aka Avatar. That was good too I guess. The story is really interesting but it was badly executed imho. But James Cameron's Avatar wow. Watch it if you haven't yet.

I truly HATE musicals. I'd rather die a painful death than watch one. Its one of the reasons why I dislike the classic Disney flicks. Way too much singing. I'll watch action and mobster movies but I usually fall asleep unless its exceptional. I'm not a fan of horror. Not cuz it scares me but they are usually so predictable and imho corny. I fell asleep watching Paranormal Activity lol.

FRINGE!!! It is the new X-Files. But so much better! I have yet to be disappointed with even one episode!

Love House and Bones too and So You Think You Can Dance. OMG those kids are so damn talented!! I guess I'm a Fox kinda gal. Also love SVU, Eureka, Star trek, Japanese game shows like Unbeatable Banzuke and Ninja Warrior.

And after buying the house we now love the DIY Network. Ahmed Hassan PLEASE CRASH MY YARD!!!!

I love cartoons. Not big into anime tho. All things Pixar, love family guy and futurama, Adult Swim. My hands down absolute fav is Invader Zim!! I actually just realized that I painted my studio the same color as Zim's lab! muahaha

OMG the insanity!!! Jhonen Vasquez is a madman. Filler Bunny.

I am obsessed with ATC's! I love working on smaller pieces. Its so intimidating to work on large canvases. And it takes such a long time to finish one piece. In the end its more satisfying than the little artworks but the little ones are so much more fun to make!!

I absolutely love working with acrylic paint and ink. I love getting my hands messy hehe :D Most of my art consists of acrylic paint, ink and vintage text.

I also LOVE working with felt! Its so easy to work with. I prefer making stuffies out of felt than fabric.

I'm a paper hoarder! I love all kinds of paper crafts. I also do collages, altered books, art journaling and anything else you can imagine. EXCEPT scrapbooking. I really dislike it. Funny enough thats what got me into mixed-media and crafts!! LOL!

Oh and I love round robin journal swaps!

Halloween is my favorite holiday so of course I love all things strange and unusual!! I can't wait to decorate my house for Halloween this year!! Witches, skulls, bats, spiders, ghosts, vampires basically anything and everything related to Halloween. I like the cute & creepy stuff but I'm not into the gory stuff. I love vintage and folk Halloween items especially. Anything with a Nightmare Before Christmas vibe is totally me!

I absolutely LOVE stuffies!! The weirder the better!

I collect them so feel free to send me any and every weird creature you can imagine :D Even better if its handmade! I also like any weird creature themed stuff like notebooks, pens/pencils, boxes, magnets... you get the point. And if I can display it even better!

I don't want to sound too picky but I have had a few swap duds and only because those partners didn't read this list carefully.

• The most important thing to pay attention to... I HATE PINK!!! Also olive, pastel colors and neon colors. These colors can be present in whatever you send just as long as they are not the dominant colors
• No socks please. I'm really particular about the kind of socks I use. If they are tight in the wrong place it gets itchy. I even wear my socks inside out so the seam doesn't bother my toes. Laugh at me if you want :P
• No wearables other than those in my wishlist
• Gold and pewter
• Scrapbooking papers (I have way too many) unless it is unusual or grungy
• Hello Kitty... unless you want this to happen to her!

• Disney themed items
• Any perfumed things. Especially flowery scents
• Rough things that make my skin itchy
• Anything that smells like smoke. I am really allergic. And please no dryer sheets!! They don't help and really only make things worse for me.
• Costume jewelry. I am allergic to most metals
• Nothing country, sports, political, nautical, religious or Twilight themed
• Recipes or cooking related things

I'm Atheist so please don't send me anything thats religious. That includes the jesus fish thing, crosses, saints, pagan items, etc. No offense intended. To each their own nomsayin?

And please no food stuffs. No candy, chocolate, or tea. I'm a bit paranoid about food sent in the mail so it would probably go to waste.
