I'm not a newbie anymore so I thought it was time to update my profile.

I live in sunny Phoenix, AZ with my 5 beautiful cats. I am also an amateur photographer, primarily in landscape and wildlife photography. I've also done some architecture photos on a recent trip to Paris, France. (where I will retire as soon as I win the lottery!)

I have begun to make notecards and post cards from my own photos, which will make up some of the cards that I send. So if you receive a card from me, it may be an original piece (professionally printed) that you do not already have in your collection. I have also recently stocked up on multiple postcard books (thanks to ebay!) so i have a large selection of cards to choose from.

I send out all of my swaps and have them out by the posted deadlines. If there is a chance that I may be late, I will contact you first to let you know. If you do not receive a card from me, PLEASE contact me before giving a low rating. If you look at my ratings, you will see that I am not a flaker. I wish the same could be said for the US Postal Service. I am more than happy to resend if the first card does not reach you.

I'm not one to write a long list of likes and dislikes. If someone makes the effort and sends something to me that fits the swap criteria, I'm fine with that. So with that in mind, I'll list a few things that I do like but don't make yourself crazy trying to fit my short list.

For postcard swaps, I mostly prefer landscape and wildlife photo cards. I also like seeing views of other cities, especially outside of the US. I also like artistic cards, especially if it is your own art on the card. I am fine with handmade cards for any swap. I don't even mind Zazzle cards if the quality s good.

I also like cats--big cats, small cats, cat photos, cat related art, etc. Anything with a cat on it will make me smile.

I love Halloween--all the time, not just in October. Got a leftover Halloween card? Feel free to send it here anytime.

I'm crazy for anything French. LOL, we need a croissant swap--I'm having withdrawals. I've been to France twice in my life and am already planning a trip back in the next year. Paris is my favorite city in the world.

If I participate in any kitty swaps, I only have a couple of requests. My cats do not eat soft treats and they would end up being wasted. They prefer crunchy treats. I also have a string eater so we avoid those so we can miss out on the expensive surgery at the vet clinic.

For candy swaps, I'm difficult. (or different, perhaps). I'm not a big fan of chocolate. I prefer something like caramels, fruit flavored candy, red licorice, etc. I don't mind something with a thin layer of chocolate around it but solid chocolates are just not what I care for.

For teas, I'm not a herbal tea fan. I prefer black teas, flavored is ok. My favorites are Darjeeling, any sort of blackberry or blackcurrant tea, and Oolong teas. The only herbal tea I do like is peppermint.
