I'm a single mother of 3, widowed for 5 years now. I'm a web/graphic design student graduating in 2009. Also a midwife and naturopath for 18+ years.

I'm a polymer clay artist, amateur sculpter and photographer, and currently learning to draw :)

There are lots of issues close to my heart, just a few include:

I work primarily in polymer clay, although once in a very great while I will scrapbook or do custom cards. I do custom pens and switchplates in polyclay, as well as handsculpted (not from molds) figurines.

I like paper crafts, I don't do a lot with scrapbooking but have the supplies around and I like making cards.

I am very into nature. My friends dubbed me earthmother way back before the internet was commonplace and it's stuck, it fits me well :) I've been an herbalist for 20 years, and as a naturopath I use not only herbs but other natural healing methods such as acupressure, homeopathy, massage, reiki, etc. I'm a traditionally trained homebirth midwife, although for that I did do clinicals at a school as well. I'm currently not practicing in either capacity as I get my degree in web/graphic design and multimedia.

I love technology and am addicted to computers, graphics, gaming etc. I play WoW and also am in SecondLife where I have a store that I'll be selling clothes, hair, skins, jewelry etc as I find time to create them :)

I love to read, have always been a very avid reader. Some of my favorites include Jean M Auel, Stephen King, Rita Mae Brown, J. K. Rowling, Robert Heinlein, and more. I'm interested in several genres, although not fond of the harlequin type romance books.

I don't watch a lot of TV since my time is limited so I'm picky about what I do watch. Favorites include Dexter, The Tudors, The L Word, Weeds, House, Medium, The Ghost Whisperer, Bones, Law and Order SVU, Two and a Half Men. I think those are all the must sees for me :)

I love movies, absolutely adore them. Not too many I don't like. I love comedies if they're smart and funny, not what I call adolescent boy humor (think napolean dynamite). I like action and drama, indie films, horror if it's good and well written not hack and slash, sci fi again if it's well written.

Favorite colors are jewel tones, not pastels. I love purple and green above all others, especially love them together.
