Just an average, single mom. I'm pretty laid back, and I do smoke and have a cat. Both of which occur in the area where I work/play although I do make a great effort to air out/clean before I send anything off.

I have one boy who's hitting his tweens, One kid only. I don't want another one (lol please don't send me yours!). I'm totally into vintage anything, esp. patterns since I make my clothes out of them), coffee, sewing notions, fabric (and I love ugly fabric), my Chanel no. 5 perfume (just so no one is surprised if they get something and smell it and go "oh this has GOT to be from Elaina"), Hello Kitty, coffee, books, buttons, tarot cards, crystals and a love of junk in general. Did I mention coffee?

I listen to anything, except rap. My MP3 player has the Monkees, Don Williams, the Killers, Pat Benetar, Martika, Tori Amos, REM, Johnnys Horton and Cash, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Benny Goodman (and alot of other swing/jazz) and a bunch of 80's pop.

I read anything. I don't care for Sci-Fi and fantasy and am an avid reader and writer of romance fiction. This has included everything from history/war non fiction to chick lit and horror and everything in the middle.

Love Story, Gone with the Wind, Highlander, Love in the time of Cholera, any and all bad horror films, The Assassination of Jesse James, Atonement and the LotR trilogy...mostly dramas with a historical bent, some comedies, horror of all types and some action.

I don't own a television. I do, however, watch Project Runway in all forms (Canada, Australia, Project Catwalk).

I sew. That's about it. Occasionally I cross stitch and do origami, and I like to bake, just don't eat it. I want to learn to embroidery, and I used to knit, but I don't do it anymore.

I'm an Aries and I am typical in that I stay in the reds and orange family.

I hate yellow. And blue is not one of my favorites.

If it's clothing I guarantee the ugliest color and the ugliest print no one can possibly wear because it looks good on about zero people is a totally awesome color and looks fab on me.
