I’m Federica. I’m 24 and I live in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, where I’ve lived my whole life.

I study English and French, and I can read a little Norwegian. I plan to learn a lot of languages because I love words and foreign cultures, but before I plan to speak the first two (English & French) fluently.

My favorite subjects at University are Francophone and Anglophone literatures, that is to say literatures in English and French but not only coming from England or France.

I have a dog and I love him so much!! His name is Berly and he’s a 2-year-old Yorkie. I also had 2 hamsters, but they both died last year. :(

I am addicted to Facebook and I do a lot of postcrossing. I’ve began to correspond with people all around the world long ago, but I always seem to accumulate a lot of dead pen-paling relationships after a couple of letters or so. I love shopping both online and in malls, and I usually buy things for other people before buying something for me. I am totally new to swapping, but maybe it will give me the chance to combine both things: finding new friends around the world and making gifts :D and maybe here in swap-bot I’ll have the chance to both give and receive and not only give as I always seem to do :P

I enjoy cooking and eating food. I love milk and white chocolate (with puffed rice or nuts, too).. combine the two and I’m in heaven! I ADORE Kinders! I usually only drink natural water, peach juice or milk/yogurt-shakes, rarely anything that has bubbles. I rarely enjoy a hot beverage, and if I do NEVER coffee; I would drink tea or hot milk if I’m in the mood, and hot chocolate only if topped with looooooads of whipped cream :P I don’t drink alcohol ever (I don’t like the flavor, it tastes to me as cough mixture, what makes my friends laugh at me :() I ADORE fruity (soft) cocktails!

I love whipped cream!! (both by itself or with strawberries), tiramisù (but I have my own version where I use milk instead of coffee :P) yummmmmmmmmm..

TV:

I’m honestly not a big TV fan, but I enjoy Doctor House and C.S.I. whenever they’re on.

BOOKS:

I read a lot (about 15 books every month not counting those I have to read for my exams) and I like to relax with something that is easy to read (love stories or about friendship with an happy ending, I adore the lived-happily-ever-after thing).

My favorite genres are fantasy and romance and I only read fiction; I’m not much into bios, historical books and essays and I never read poetry.

My favorite book is Jane Eyre, but here are some authors I enjoy (in no particular order): Cecelia Ahern, J. K. Rowling, Sophie Kinsella, Christopher Paolini, Stephenie Meyer, Jane Austen.

MOVIES:

I have a quite large collection of animated movies (not only Disney) and my favorite are: Mulan, Finding Nemo, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, The Beauty and The Beast, Bambi, The Little Mermaid, Ice Age 1-2-3, The Incredibles, Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Alice in Wonderland, The Aristocats, The Lion King, Lady and The Tramp, Monsters,Inc., Peter Pan … do I need to go on? ;P

And I love romantic movies (Dirty Dance, Pretty Woman, Ghost, Two weeks notice, 13 going on 30, How to lose a guy in 10 days..)

CRAFTS:

I don’t do a lot of things, but I’m trying to learn them well :)

I’m slowly getting into felt sewing and cake decorating: not very good results but it’s fun! :P I also love to draw; I’m not good at it, but it relaxes me.

Other than that, I like seeing others’ works: paintings, bookmarks, sewing, jewelry making, dress sewing..

COLORS:

• anything handmade by you, purely decorative or also functional (it doesn’t have to be perfect)

• anything American, English, Irish, Scottish, Australian, French, Canadian, Norwegian (I write these considering the languages I study, but of course from every other country would be good too)

• doggie items or items for my dog (squeaky toys)

• anything with apples, strawberries, peaches, pears, oranges or bananas on it

• pop-tarts (never ate them, but I would like to try.. can’t find any in here)

• I’m also very interested in making new friends, so if you find some for me, forward it in your package lol

Although I wrote this wish-list, I’m definitely open to receiving other things; being introduced to something new could be very interesting. It’s very easy to made my day, so please don’t feel like you have to stick to it, surprise me! Send me what you love, or what you think I should try/know, and add a little note explaining why you chose it.. maybe it won’t be something I would have ever bought for myself, but if I know you took your time to choose it, I will appreciate it anyway :)

• I WON’T NEVER FLAKE ON SWAPS!! If you don’t get your package in time it will be the postal service’s fault and NOT MINE! Please send me a message before giving a bad rating so I at least have a chance to demonstrate you I sent your package and maybe to resend it

• I will try to be prompt with everything I send (and I expect the same in return): I will always send my packages and I’ll always send them in time; if something does come up, I will notify you, but I’ll make my best not to let that happen; I always honor my commitments!

• I will rate the swaps you send

In return, if you don’t like what you have received, please try to consider that I’ve tried hard to follow your wish-list and that I’ve chosen things that I think you would like. As said above, I won’t give you a bad rating for not finding something I love, especially if you explain me why you’ve chosen it.
