im a hippy at heart i love the 1960s my husband passed away he was a biker with a grizzly beard i miss him and always will so the love of my life is my dog a miniture jack russell terrier we love the woods and beaches. i love knitting card making i also love crafts where i can use glitter beads and my imagination i do stand out in a crowd but im honest caring and reliable and these days its hard to find decent folk i joined this as i thought it sounded fun a a way of making like minded friends instead of the usual facebook which i dont go on very often as it bores me and i have never been one to follow the crowd

my favourite music is donovan lietch 1960s folk singer pink floyd the doors i love rock music and all the music in the 50s 60s 70s im an old time girl i like things to do with world war 2 and the veitnam war i think it was terrible what happened to people but it interests me to see how other folk lived and coped with such a mad time . I read a lot of books like martina cole ,manda sue heller,june hampson,jessie keane but also i like cathrine cookson ,dee williams, gilda oneil.I love craft books that learn me tips and ideas i love books about fairy artwork.I adore my television i love to watch the true movies channels british soap operas mystery dramas i love medium smallville ghost whisperer true blood vampire diarys and even doctor quinn medicine woman as i like sully hes very handsome.Alatley i have took to watching criminal minds cold case law n order special victims steven segals trye justice unforgetable and the most fantastic amazing new series SONS OF ANARCHY

I'm looking forward to doing my first swap and many more to come the thought of my works of art or my teabags going halfway accross the world really makes me feel groovy. I love all colours you see to me colours are loved or hated depending on what they are for example i dont really like brown but when brown is chocolate yummy or my patches furry brown ears soft and lovely . I'm happy to try anything . I love stamping, groovy papers ,ribbons,buttons,beads,brads.i have took up quilling and i would love to get really good at it.i am now enjoing ATCS and inchies all thanks to swap bot. i like to use acrylic paints, inks ,chalks ,embossing powders and wow do i adore mica powders oh and flower soft is fantastic how you can make your art go fluffy i am yet to learn parchment craft as i only have a one tool so far.I have just taken up cd roms after a wrestle getting my printer going n cash for inks . I have 4 lovely Debbie Moore vintage flowers shabby chic n paper delights her bellas secret garden and fairy sillouhette magic I have a fab one by polkerdoodles its great as you can print all the bits out in black n white then go to town with my pro markers.I also love a lot of Joanna Sheens work sorry if you are not from the u.k all these celeb crafters may be unknown to you here we have a channel called create n craft on the tv its not just selling you stuff but they do demos and have fun competitions i have had a few emails read out and have won a lovely card. infact like swap bot you feel like a big crafting family . I have a triple forever friends bear cd rom coming and forever friends bear black n white he is such a lovely bear and has been on the go for years since i was a child. you see i go from one extreme to the other with my crafting from vintage to cute n cuddley it all depends.I also like to dabble in writing my own poems they are mostly rude n funny or maybe about my life and all the madness i have had happen.

I thought i better add on my likes and dislikes as i don't want anyone saying my profile isnt filled out you see i love all colours i will give any tea or chocolate a try though im not keen on dark choc but if i did get anything i didnt like i wouldnt make a song n dance i would just pass it on to a friend that does .So really what i'm saying is i have not got a long list of likes and dislikes cos with me im a little wild hippy thats open to all the things that swop bot has to offer i hate liver and onions and sprouts but i doubt i will get them in the post ha ha ha

Update world. Yes swap bot has changed my life it has given me confidence and happyness when now and then i have felt alone it's also taken my crafting to a whole new level so thankyou everyone STAY GROOVY hugs hippysherree n patch xxxxxxx

just a little important message to say i always send my swaps out on time and i spent a lot of effort putting my heart n soul into my creations if something happens like my computer breaking down or a bad life thing then please give me chance to put it right if you dont recieve please pm me and i will resend we must talk to each other before writing in the dreaded number one or three cos once its on you cant get rid of it and there might be a proper reason why its all gone t*ttys up oh and i do reuse my bubble envies i like you have piles of them around the place so it makes sense to recycle thanks for listening

Well i am slowly getting back into the swing of it although i am keeping the cost to a minimum this year just picking out a few decant or my fav type of swaps to do per month i have dropped from several groups as i was struggling to keep up with them all i prefer to be in the background now days i hope you all understand xxxxx
