i love indie music! i love bands like sorority noise, rex orange county, and arctic monkeys. to be honest, i really enjoy quite a few songs from every genre (kpop and classical included).

my favorite books are probably speak by laurie halse anderson, the hate u give by angie thomas, we were liars by e lockhart, and the perks of being a wallflower by stephen chbosky.

my all time favorite movies are spider-man: into the spider-verse, men in black, guardians of the galaxy, the great gatsby (2013), and princess and the frog.

i LOVE watching shows that make me laugh. i deal with sadness from time to time, so the only way that i can escape from my emotions is by laughing. i love the office, parks and rec, bob’s burgers, and family guy.

finally, here is a little backstory on how i got here. i’ve been sending letters for about five years now, and i originally got my start on the find teen pen pals tumblr page. unfortunately, the site is no longer active, so i’ve searched far and wide for a site that i could use to find a few new friends. i’ve used reddit, instagram, and countless other places to find some pen pals to no avail. i’m hoping that this one will work out! i love books, my job, art, and anything that’s creative. i’m currently enrolled at a community college near me, and i’m planning on majoring in art education once i transfer to a major university. i’m not sure that’s my true purpose, but i can’t seem to find anything else that really suits me. i do struggle a bit with chronic depression and a bit of a panic disorder, so by sending letters and making connections, it’s easier for me to deal with all of life’s inconsistencies. if you’re into zodiacs, i’m actually the truest cancer that has ever walked this earth. i’m a type 6 enneagram. i’m also a proud hufflepuff!
