ABOUT RATINGS:

MY WISH FOR 2011: LETS HAVE FUN, AND REVEL IN THE JOY OF SWAPPING!

FAV COLORS:

I love pink, purple, lime green, orange (ya know that retro look), and sparkley, shiny, glittery (are those colors?)gold, silver, metalic....there is nothing subtle about my style! Actually I am not that picky. I just like vibrant colors. I am not a fan of drab, blah,or goth looking colors.

FAV HOLIDAYS:

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, in that order.

MAKES ME SMILE: Cats, birds, crowns, crosses,bees, vintage anything, glitter, stickers,rub ons, Hello Kitty, Mary Engelbreit, ribbon, buttons, stamps, pretty paper...(I have so much paper but am always buying more!)

I like hand made crafting, painting, reading, all kinds of animals, Holidays and days off of work. I enjoy hanging out with my kitties~they always make me laugh. Shopping, napping, thrift store shopping...which brings me to finding a treasure that cost under 10.00!

DISLIKES: Dinosaurs, snakes, creepy(realistic) bugs, goth, dark /bland colors, clowns (so creepy) wiccan/ pagan things.

FAV CRAFTS:

I paint in acrylic and do some mixed media and collage. I enjoy using a palet with a good amount of sparkle, glitter, foil, shine, and metalics.(I know matt finish is an option, but really, why would you? :o)

I enjoy card making, bookmarks, tags, shaker tags, art journaling, garlands, scrapbooking, knitting, dotees, button fairies, ATC'c...and am always willing and excited to learn new crafts!

In 2011 I want to learn: crochet, altered boxes, tins, etc, more about painting with texture, and mixed media, and art journaling on canvas, felting and ???

I enjoy the classics, art books, psychological thrillers, mysteries, and books with womens themes and women authors. I like Pearl S. Buck, Sylvia Plath, Amy Tan, Maya Angelou, Jane Austen, Willa Cather, Debbie Macomber, Anne Frank, and the list goes on...

From Childhood I love Little House on the Prarie series, Anne of Green Gables series, Dr Seuss, The Horse Who Lived Upstairs, and my all time favorite...Lyle the Crocadile. (it is not well known or popular, but he has to go to the hospital and it shows him in his hospital gown making lots of friends and learning lessons.) I was ill and was given this book while in the hospital. Great book for a kid in the hospital!
