I love arts, crafts, and travel. I am a deltiologist (that is, a collector of postcards). I love finding cool things and sharing those cool things with others. I believe there is nothing better than getting mail -- be it from someone you know or someone random. But on to more personal things.

Chicago raised, Iowa grown and living in Texas now. I've visited almost every state in the country (except everything Northeast of New York, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Washington and Oregon). I love Montana, Nevada, Iowa, North Dakota .. basically love the wide open spaces and frendly faces. Mountains, rivers, oceans, deserts, plains all make me delighted.

• soccer
• Chicago bears or Chicago cubs
• technology. I hate cell phones, ipods and anything related to it which cuts off communication and interaction with others. Nothing gets my goat more than watching someone blatantly ignore another because they're too busy with their electronics (see: people who don't get off their phone when they check out at a store and acknowledge the cashier).
