~NOTE~ I will be taking a hiatus from swap-bot while I start a new job. Hopefully I will be able to get settled soon and start swapping again. :)

1. i love making lists.

2. i found out about this site after seeing a co-worker put together a beautiful card.

3. i was born and raised in sunny southern california but love gloomy weather. at some point i'll move to a place that doesn't get as much 72&sunny weather.

4. i used to collect stamps as a child. sadly, my collection is lost in the black hole of a storage shed at my parent's house.

5. i'm using swap-bot as an outlet to use up all of the craft supplies i've accumulated over the last few years.

6. green is my favorite color.

7. i'm fascinated by (and terrified of) sharks.

8. each year i want to be a different star wars character for halloween, but always dress up as a witch.

9. i studied art in school with the hopes of being an artist... now i end up hiring artists and photographers for a living.

10. i tend to write and type using only lower case letters. i have this weird idea that not using capitals would read as being very laidback. i know i'm totally wrong though.

11. i'm the girl who goes to trade shows and comes home with tchotchkes i don't need.

12. from what i've been told from my friends who are into astrology, i have all of the capricorn traits. if anyone knows what they are, i'd love to know. it's a mystery to me.

[crafts/art]

• paper crafts, rubber stamps, photography, handmade postcards, handmade notecards, letter stickers, stickers, painting mini canvases, decorating envelopes, fold n go letters, decorating with washi tape... and many other things

[movies]

• star wars, great expectations, lord of the rings, practically all super hero movies. i'm fairly easy to please when it comes to movies. i was everything from teeny bopper to action films to mafia movies to foreign and everything in between

[tv shows]

• mad men, simpsons, avatar: the last airbender, arrested development, law and order: svu, homeland, 30 rock, psych... i'm a fan of practically all of the USA network shows, NBC, and practically live on netflix

[books]

• she's come undone by wally lamb, the five people you meet in heaven by mitch albom, the perks of being a wallflower by stephen chbosky, perfume: story of a murders by partrick suskind... i've been looking for other good reads. suggestions welcome!

[food]

• macaroni and cheese, chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter, cereal, macaroons & macarons, green tea, earl grey tea, brownies, hot chocolate, and all other things yummy.

[likes]

• minimalist design, whimsical typefaces, practically all things relating to typography, stripes, geometric design, bright/bold colors, earthy tones, black and grey designs, good use of color wheels, robots, sharks, star wars things, all things miniature, photography (all of it), overly cutesy things, overly masculine/handsome things, futuristic things, stamps, pretty scraps of paper, washi or other cool tape, jewelry, cereal boxes, peanut butter, brownies, really cool handwriting, rubber stamps, magnets, bottle openers, cool postcards, notepad sheets, blank cards, really fat/wide ribbon, fantasy/whimsical things... and practically everything else

[not really a fan of]

• blueberries, caramel, expired milk, stepping on gum, cleaning up glitter, the leftover stinky water from flower vases, marshmallows... i am not a big fan of these things but i don't hate them. i have a high tolerance level.

• i'm pretty easy to please when it comes to what is sent. i just hope that you're putting an effort into what you send--and that's completely subjective from person to person. basically, you don't have to over think what you're sending me.

• i love art. all forms of it. that's why i'm not picky when it comes to what's sent. i understand that everybody enjoys different things and that's what i find interesting.

• please PM me if there's ever a problem with something i've sent. this is supposed to be a enjoyable hobby and i wouldn't want to disappoint anyone. :)
