I am a 48 yr. old sahm of 4 beautiful children plus 2 furbabies. I have been married to my sweetheart for 28 yrs. My favorite season is Spring followed by Fall. Which explains my favorite colors being yellow, red, orange,and greens. I am a person who loves to be with my family and friends. My house always has people in it and I am never sure how many will be around my table come meal time. I get to spend the days with two of my daughters and we always find time to sit and craft while drinking hot tea and watching a show in the afternoon. It is the high light of our day. Evenings is when my Sweetheart and my son get to come join us. We look forward to that greatly.

I love crocheting and knitting. I am really into making cowls, dish clothes, and socks right now. I would love to learn to spin but haven't yet. I totally love soft yarns. I have discovered bamboo and alpaca just lately. I love to work with bright fun colors or soft neutrals. Depending on the item. Cotton is the best for dish clothes so I have learned the hard way. :) I am finding it is easy to get addicted to the tools I use as well. I started out with the usual but am now moving into the nicer quality ones. Also finding all kinds of fun tools. I enjoy anything cheerful and fun as this is my way of relaxing.

I also enjoy reading. I am more into how to and herbal books. I do enjoy the occasional sci-fi although I am a Christian and truly do not enjoy anything that is dirty or anti God. Some of my favorite books are They Loved To Laugh, Heidi, Little Women, Hinds Feet on High Places, Jane Austin books, as well as my serious books. I also love devotionals. Of course I totally love Agatha Christie!!! John Bunyan is also a huge favorite for me.

I am pretty varied in my music taste. I enjoy the oldies, the really really oldies, and the really really really oldies. :) I love to listen to love songs and soft music. The older christian music and hymns are more to my liking. Not into country or rock. I have found that books on tape are AWESOME!!! I love to put a good one on while working. Makes the work pleasant.

I am a bit addicted to sugar, choc.,tea, coffee, and hot cocoa. :) We take a daily tea time and go thru a pot or two. That is the hot tea we have cold tea going all day long. Coffee is how we get our morning going and then again after supper. I have recently discover Tim Hortons coffee. What have I been missing!!!!! :O That stuff if wonderful!! Sadly I can't get it here. :( Someone sent some to a friend of mine which is where I fell in love with it. Apparently it is only for people way up north.

I collect snowmen, scarecrows, chickens, tea cups/saucers, and tea pots. I love quirky on everything but the tea stuff. That I like very dainty and ladylike.

When I am looking for a treat I love to buy or receive fun soaps, lotions, lip balms, and candles. My favorite scents are floral, like lilac, honeysuckle, tropical, etc.. I also enjoy vanilla, coconut apple spice, clove/nutmeg. I don't like licorice, choc, or most food smells. I have dry skin so love thick not water based lotions.

My son has asthma so I need things from a smoke free home. I received a gift once from a smokers home and my son had an attack when I opened the box. Sorry but this is pretty important. He is super allergic to smoke.
