We wear gloves to touch gas pumps, door handles, and everything in the public, and do car camping to avoid hotels (or open windows as we're wiping down hotel rooms). I wasn't a scout either, but would love earning patches now LOL I did a bit of Halloween shopping myself, pretty early as well, cause like you said- its all gone come time to actually use it. I did get like 12 6 X 6 sheets of Halloween cling stamps for $15.32 online at InLoveArts, I think it's in China, but it didn't take too long to arrive, plus lots of sale items at JoAnns.
