Comment: Thanks for the Dino postcard. Kids are really cute when they are trying to say difficult words. They are so fun to talk to. I have two young nephews at home who love to talk and they crack me up sometimes.
Comment: Thank you so much for the super cool postcard! Oddly enough the sorting machine left a mark of the front that looks like a trail from a spaceship going into hyperdrive and it looks very cool on the galaxy photograph! I love when the act of sending mail creates new art! :) I hope you're doing ok and that you have a lovely weekend!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and the words written on the back. I love how you took the time to read my profile and curate the decor and stickers to match it!
Comment: Hi Krista . . . thank you so much for the lovely pc's you sent to fulfill this swap. I also love the stationery you sent--so colorful and fun!
Comment: "I don't feel I need to explain my art to you, Warren." 😂 I feel seen. Lol And you were on double dare?! That really is a fun fact! I remember going to see Nickelodeon Live in, like, 1994. Thanks so much for the swap and the smiles.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful envelope and for such awesome goodies!!! I LOVE the VW bus tuck-ins!!!! Still my dream vehicle... I love everything and can't wait to use it!!!
Comment: Ooh I loved the epistolary nature of this story, and postcards were the perfect medium for that! The ending was so wild I about felt bad for Paul. The postcards were fun, too. The first one with the 60s scene was perfect.
Thank you for coming up with such a fun swap :) I hope you'll host another!
Comment: I appreciate your card. I did foster care for many years we would at times have 8 kids and we would get those questions and looks. We have 5 of our own thank goodness they are spread out. I think its wonderful to have those kids and yes there will be times you'll miss it but also times you'll be glad.
Comment: Hi Krista! First, thank you for the gorgeous presentation of this swap. I could tell you put a lot of thought and care into packaging and decorating. I love the items you sent! I also love poetry and was happy to find it inside and on the envie, too.
Comment: Hi Krista! Thank you for sharing your happiness - I just love that this happened and how proud you are of your son! All the best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for all the lovely stamps on the envelope. Also, a real photo postcard! I’ve not seen many and it prompted me to look up the place in Florida, I hadn’t realised how old it was. Great choices.
Comment: Salem is beautiful but yes, it has become very commercialised and kitchy -- I wish they would have left it as an historical place and respected thtat but sadly, it has become a tourist attraction ad continues to get worse every year.
Thank you for the lovely pc of the house of 7 gables, it was a treasure to walk through there when we did it a few years back! I love visiting the graveyards in that area as well! SO MANY unique stones!!! x Gabi
Comment: Yes, the post card is just plain and ugly. But I LOVE the mad lib type of sticker you put on it. (Baby Poop). Just perfect. Thanks for making this a fun swap.
Comment: Much RESPECT and gratitude to you for sending me a photo of the magnificent natural woman, Aretha Franklin. Her face is glowing iwith joy. Thank you so much!
Comment: Thank you! The black envelope is really high quality, too. I'll probably be able to use it again. One of the stickers looks like a Pergamo Paper Goods item! Look them up sometimes, although they usually have gators, flamingos, cats, etc. in the 'vintage' collage style.
Comment: Love the stickers on the back, especially the jellyfish. And I still have those same halloween postage stamps because of the purple bats, lol!! xxMuggleMom
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I like polar bears as well, though I've heard they can be quite aggressive.
We have a little city park with a little zoo locally. They used to have black bear cubs there. I think I liked the bears the best, though the armadillo was cute too. I'm pretty sure that's how I'm dying, by trying to befriend a giant grizzly or something similar. 😕🐻
Comment: Krista! Thank you so much for such a great postcard! I love it! Your list was the best! Made me laugh! And you always have the best stickers! They are awesome!❤ Thank you!
Comment: Krista! I love the peas postcard! I love the blah washi tape too! Hahaha! I agree with you on that one regarding drinking peas! Hahaha thanks again! 😊
Comment: Hi, Krista! Thanks so much for the great gifts! I loved them all - Moon River is one of my favourite songs, and I'll be sure to try the blueberry muffin recipe. Cheers!
Comment: Thanks, it's a pleasure to hear that someone else in SWapBot reads real literature (all the romance and sci-fi makes me very sad -- life can be so much richer!)How lucky to have your Great grandmother's fflour sack quilt! I remember one dress made of a yellow flower print sack --probably age 8 or 9 --made by my mother and I felt very beautiful in it.
Comment: Wow, THANK YOU! I loved every single item in this envelope. You are such a kind soul! Thank you so much. I can’t wait to do the blank postcard. I love that idea so much. Your town also looks beautiful!
Comment: Thank you for this beautiful postcard !
Those kids are born with phones that can go on the internet in their hands, but they know nothing lol ! Just look it up ! Ahah
Have a nice day !
Comment: Thanks for your card with your list of things you are grateful for. It sounds like you have the right mindset to work with your son and his autism diagnosis! Good luck!
Comment: Thank you for the yummy postcard! Haha! I love the stickers you used too! I also love bell peppers!❤ update! I received the bonus pc today! That was really sweet of you but not necessary! 😊 I love it! Your stickers are awesome! Where do you get them!? ❤
Comment: Thank you ! I love it and it's soooo good to see children love to draw, write, read, be creative ❤️ Even though not everybody grows up to be an artist, I think it does one soooo good to be able to do something others don't, esp.with love and growing with their parents full support. I could feel your joy in your mail ❤️ thank you so much!
Comment: Thankyou for your creepy childhood postcard. I like your hosted swap!
I read the goosebumps stories with my daughter when she was child, and she was a very young little girl at this time but she liked creepy stories!
Ours favorites are :the beast from the cellar, the attack of the specters, the invasion of the aliens, the cursed clock.
I like the film too with Jack Black.
Comment: What a wonderful postcard that matches the theme of the swap in such a perfect way! For me it was Pippi Longstocking that started my book passion.
Comment: Girrrrrllll!!! I am forever inspired by your packages! I love how you used the bag as the envelope and everything inside is so lovely! Thank you so much!
Comment: Thanks for the fun postcard - that owl stamp from Zimbabwe is really cool!! And I learned a new word - I had to look up what "deltiology" meant. :)
Comment: This is just a quote for me! I love uncommon and unpredicted things! And the bus stamp…we were married in a school bus 25 years ago ❤️. Thank you very much!
Comment: This has been one of my favorite swaps so far and yours did not disappoint! It’s so interesting to see righties be lefties or vice versa…yours did not look bad! Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the great card! I grew up in Michigan, and going to Mackinac Island was a favorite place for me, even though it was quite a drive to get there! Love the card, too. It's great! Thanks so much!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard and great stamps!! I can't wait for my son to be old enough to play with legos, I always loved playing with them when I was a kid!
Comment: What beautiful recipe cards! I can't wait to try them all! I love that you're in a freezer meal club, I wish someone around me would do something like that!
Comment: Thank you! I love the Elves postcard & your note. I used to have this set once upon a time. But I agree with whole heartedly about Fall weather and it really is a magical time of year ! Fall is my #1 favorite. Especially because of Halloween.
Comment: Thank you for the hmpc! Your chompers look nice and healthy and well-aligned. Fun fact - I am missing 8 permanent teeth, as my mouth was too small to fit them all! No fangs. 😔🥺
Comment: Thank you for the delicious recipes on such beautiful recipe cards! 🤤 Lo mein is actually one of my favorite takeout choices so we’ll be trying that recipe next weekend! My husband’s drink of choice is Dr. Pepper, cooking ribs with it sounds very interesting too!
Comment: Hey there swap friend! Ya know, I never looked at zombies as mythical creatures (although it's totally fine for a swap). There are some historical references related to the religious afterlife beliefs of Hattian slaves indicating a belief in zombie-like eternal servitude. If I recall from a monster film class I took in college, the 'first' zombie movie was White Zombie 1932 which discusses these thoughts (most people consider the first zombie move Romero's 1968 Night of the Living Dead). Anyway, I didn't me to deep dive, your awesome Zombie postcard just got me thinking about it. Happy to swap with you again, I hope to do it again soon. Best, Rick
Comment: Its a beautiful card from Sedona. Thank you. I'm sorry for the late rating. I found this in a pile of papers on my messy kitchen table): I prefer to be prompt!
Comment: Hi Krista, you don't have to apologize about the Harry Potter pc. I agree with you. It is a strange/ugly pc, however, my 34 yr old son still loves Harry Potter and he wants the card! A win! Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the amazingly well decorated postcard ;) I can't believe you wax seals made it through the postoffice intact Love all the space stuff! Ty!
Comment: Thank you for the Harry Potter postcard. I love how you decorated it. I guess we both live on the edge because I love PBS. Nature is one of my favorite shows.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcard and verse! I agree with you, we all need to pray for all our children! I have 4 nieces and nephews all in high school this year. Thankfully, we have a God who protects us! Have a blessed day!
Hugs,
Diane
