There are some fantastic pen pal swaps on swap-bot and Ive joined a couple but as a supposedly "mature" woman sometimes there isn't a lot in common with your partner, especially if they are so young they have no idea who Steve Perry and Journey are, or sadly they think the kids from Glee wrote Don't Stop Believing LOL So this swap is for all those women over the glorious age of 50 who are looking for new pen pals. The swap will be quite simple, write your partner a 2 page letter, you can include or not include extras ie: postcard, stickers, photo,book marks etc The choice is YOURS :) Your partner will be chosen at random so you may not find the perfect pen pal first time round, if not then we can always host another swap :) This will be an international swap so please allow time for your letters to arrive, we have lives, families get sick, people get busy and sometimes a swap can be overlooked so please be kind and patient if your letter is a little late in arriving. This is the first ever swap Ive set up on my own so if there is anything I need to change to make future swaps better PLEASE let me know.

Can this be typed? Hope so cause I hHATE MY HANDWRITING! Will make sure they will know it's not a letter that I use over & over, I promise!

I'm a bit the same way about my hand writing, I think its because my brain is going much faster than I can get the information to the page!! LOL So typed or handwritten its entirely your choice :)

OK ladies Swap-Bot has chosen your partners, so I hope everyone has received them and is ready to get started. I thought I might have been able to match you all up individually but apparently its all done for us by Swap-Bot so lets hope we all find someone we can make new friends with. If not I'm thinking of starting a 50's+ group so we can add our own pen pal requests, some small cheap international swaps, a place to have a chat, that kind of thing but I'll keep you all posted ;)
