Greetings fellow Alumni!

This is the first in a series of ATCs exploring the aspects of the Wizarding World that are still slightly shrouded in mystery.

There are 11 major Magical Schools registered with the International Confederation of Wizards, but we only really know details about 7 of them.

1 in the Series - Mahoutokoro - The Japanese School of Magical Arts

Mahoutokoro is known for it’s gorgeous palace hidden on a volcanic island. The students wear famously color changing robes as their proficiency in magic increases. Not all students board at the school, most fly home each day until their fourth year or so. Flocks of giant Storm Petrels (beautiful sea birds) are commonly found around the school to ferry children back and forth. The school is also famously known for their brutal dedication to Quidditch.

Create an ATC (2.5in x 3.5in on a sturdy backing with your information on the back) based on a feature of the Japanese School of Magical Arts. Write a short note explaining what inspired your ATC and anything about the school that you’re still curious about.

Remember as this swap is international to keep everything light and simple to avoid additional postage and be patient when awaiting your swap, international mail can take longer than the standard 2 weeks.

Future Schools in this series will be #2 - Uagadou, #3 Castelbruxo, #4 Beauxbatons, #5 Durmstrang, #6 Ilvermorny, #7 Hogwarts, #8 Bonus Round Imagine What one of the other 4 schools is like.

I am available to angel if an emergency arises, but let’s hope that isn’t the case! Remember to be communicative with your partners and rate when you receive!
