Bead Trade Off

Really don't mean to be rude (honestly) but why no wood beads? I can understand no plastic but wood beads can be beautiful. I've seen this on other swaps so am just wondering.

b/c most people can't use wood, i think is why. I have wood beads that i never use

I have seen some gorgeous wooden beads as well but I think that what we are trying to avoid are those weird dyed ones that you see on macrame, would be hard to use. I don't think anyone would complain if you sent some fantabulous carved wooden bead but I don't want to open the door to the majority of icky wooden ones.

One mans rubbish is another mans treasure (as the saying goes here in England). I also, like wooden beads,but agree there are some tacky ones, but that goes with all beads, I think its more to do with the person sending them than the beads themselves?! Tricky one.

Hi, I just signed up for this swap. I live in Australia and as far as I know bringing in wood items are not allowed. I am not sure if they are able to check in post, but I do not wish for any hold-ups by custom.

Hi there! I just joined this swap, and am looking forward to it. I do not mind unique wood beads, handmade polymer beads that are cute, aqua, green, or whites. And reds, but then again I am not all that picky ^_^

Ok so i am new to this whole thing, when do I find out who I am supposed to send my beads to? I'm so excited have been looking for something like this to get rid of some beads and get some great new ones!
