i have been out of circulation for awhile but I'd like to dip my toes in the water once again. I've updated my profile so you might want to read through it again. My tastes have changed. Sometimes quite dramatically!!

I'm a mixed media artist, art journaler, and zentangler. I also just got into smash/junk journaling. Mail art is something that I really like to do as well only I don't correspond with too many people so I don't get to indulge in that too often.

I have three boy cats: Quincy, Sammy and Scheyer (long story). I want a dog but we live in a smallish townhouse and I don't want to upset the balance of the household either.

I live in Hawaii land of eternal sunshine and rainbows. I'm not much for the beach and sun but I still love it here. I love the culture and the food. I was born and raised here.

I really don't care for orange or chartreuse

I don't like really cute things although minions are an exception. My tastes run more towards the odd like Teesha Moore's work.

I have a problem with strong floral odors or any other scents really. I have a very sensitive nose.

I love TAZO teas! I have become a true convert to their mesh tea bags! I also love black teas of any flavor in any packaging. :)

No opinions. Everyone has to have at least one. .

I love mermaids, fairies, dragonflies, and lotus flowers. I do NOT like cartoonish renderings of said items though. (i know! i'm so picky!) My room is decorated around a mermaid print. (The Mermaid, by Howard Pyle)

I love cats! I have three cats, all boys. I'm not sure how that happened. o.O

My favorite holiday is Chinese New Year's.

I also like Asian things. i'm Asian (Chinese if you couldn't tell from my favorite holiday) and my house is decorated in that fashion.

I'm a QUOTE addict! I use them a lot in my artwork..

I'm a mixed media artist so I love all sorts of things. Any and all EPHEMERA goes into my artwork. Lately I've been collecting a lot of vintage ephemera. Like dictionary pages, music sheets, and ads from really old magazines.

Washi tape is good too. Any pattern or color.

I also just started junk/smash journaling. Sticky notes. Interesting paper clips. Things of that nature are good.

(5-11-11)primdollmaker: Did not rate me for the "Zentangle Alphabet U" (3/12-3-12); i'm very sorry for her family loss, but she received my ATC in March. It only takes a moment to rate someone and I contacted her 3 times with no response from her. I worked hard on that ATC and I think I at least deserve some sort of communication. Unless I hear from her AT ALL, I'm marking her as a FLAKER.
