This is supossed to be about me huh?

OK. Here it goes. I am a multi-faceted 30ish man with many interests and hobbies. I knit, yardsale, thrift store, fish, antique. and sell antiques from time to time. I like raising chickens for Eggs. They are alot of fun. Hence the name. Chicken Dave

I'm a touchy feely person. I have to touch and stroke things; yarn, animals, flowers, walls. I sniff things; new books, old books, fabric, leather bags,people. I love smooth wood and bamboo, warm velvet and merino, softest silk and alpaca, strong cotton and linen. I like the scent of clean laundry and fruity smells. I don't like most floral scents, sandalwood, and patchouli.
I collect Antique Valentines, Easter and Christmas postcards, Tattoo's, Piercings and other oddities. I have some 1900's coat buttons from St. Elisabeths Asylum in Washington D.C that have been made into cuff links.

Candles: I like to burn candles from time to time, preferably Partylite, though any brand of melts would be great. Any clean or fruity smells.

I am a chocolate fiend. Milk, dark, fudge, brownies. White chocolate is ok in combination with real chocolate.
I don't care for chocolate with fruits or raisins, nougat, Cadbury eggs, marzipan. I like Bounty bars, Aero bars, Cadbury chocolate,(Not the eggs), Chocolate Smarties,Lindt chocolates/truffles, Rolos, Reese's Cups, Kit Kats. Natural fiber yarns
Novelty yarns: Fun fur, eyelash, pom pom, slub (etc.) Craft supplies of all kinds. I am a BIG hockey fan. GO CAPS!!!!!!!

I like almost any genre of music. Hip hop and rap in limited quantities. No gospel or opera.

I am color blind, so tight patterns of red & green or blue & yellow are lost to me.

I like natural fiber yarns of all colors. Sock, DK, lace, pretty much any weight. I would consider myself a novice knitter. I have yet to make any garments, such as sweaters (etc). I like making hats, slippers and of course socks.Most of the things I make are for other people.

Not into cheap acrylic yarns like Red Heart Super Saver and the like. I do like to knit with novelty yarns like fun fur, eyelash, boucle, pom pom, etc.
