I am a young illustrator/graphic designer.

My main loves are writing, textile illustration, plushies, buttons, fat quarters and anything created by like minded creatives (postcards/ATCs/Inchies)

I am Christian, so please don't send me anything inappropriate. That's not to say I don't love receiving things from other faiths and cultures, just that I wouldn't particularly appreciate satanic things O_o

Paper:

I love vintage papers, sheet music, old newspaper adverts or dressmaking patterns and I absolutely love 50's big eyed illustrations that you would have found on old valentines cards or postcards around that time. I love hand altered or handmade papers, for example stamped or tea stained.

Journaling/mixed media:

I mostly love creating a faded look when it comes to journaling. I often use tea to stain my papers and brown or black inks to taint any edges. I will use anything from buttons and buckles to old collectable cigarette cards to lace and doyles in my journaling. I do tend to veer away from using brightly coloured images or objects and if they are then I will more than likely alter them. I LOVE receiving handmade tags, ATCs or inches that I can use in my work and really appreciate the time and effort that other creators put into anything like this.

ATC's/Inchies

I love receiving these as I have mentioned above.. There is something special about being able to hold something and use something that someone has spent time making for you. I love seeing the wide range of skill other people have and I am drawn to mixed media work or skilled penmanship. I don't mean to be rude but I don't really like it when someone goes sticker happy on an ATC or Inchie, or just prints images out and sticks them on... Collage is an exception as I can see the art in that but I don't really agree with just slapping things on an ATC and calling it your own, sorry.

Fabrics/haberdashery:

I love most fabrics! I loves plains to busy floral. If there is fabric evolved, there's not much to go wrong! I tend to avoid children's fabric though as I find it hard to find a use for it... No little ones just yet!! I love ANY buttons or bits for sewing. Novelty buttons are great too! By this I mean large buttons, shaped buttons, animal or object buttons!

Vintage/retro (illustrations ie women in cocktail dresses, or sewing patterns or even in Victorian dress, I also LOVE tacky retro illustrations ie large eyed children or animals)

Steampunk style things. I love the whole Victorian brass era thing!

I would appreciate it if I didn't receive anything anti-Christian. I am not overly sensitive.. I love receiving things from other faiths, I love fantasy, sci-fi, things like that... the things I am referring to not receiving would be anti-Christ things; ATC's with Satan on, crosses upside down, that sort of thing :-p

I love love LOVE Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell books, they are the perfect pair. Paul's amazing writing and Chris's spectacular illustrations!

I listen to many different types of music. My favorite bands/artists at the moment are; Starfield, Tom&Olly, Dan Black, Robyn and Ellie Goulding.

There are so many movies I love, but to name a few; The Dark Crystal, The Dajing Limited, Willow, House Of Flying Daggers, Spirited Away and of course Amelie.
